    BF3 alpha ended?

    2011 - 08.03

    Apparently the Alpha Testing ended on the 1st August, so possibly this is why we cannot play anymore.

    Anyone read as I have on a few different sites saying its ended or know of any different?

    Tbh if I don’t get to play it again until release i don’t mind, as from what i’ve played its gonna be awesome,but thanks EA/Dice(or where ever it came from) for my invite :)

      Yer that’s right.
      I watched some geeky lad’s video that was posted on the battleblog regarding the end of the trial.
      There is still alot of confusion regarding this as the Alpha Trial remains to be a test for the back-end and nothing to do with the Beta Trial in which is available to those that pre-ordered MOH.

      The invite e-mail to Alpha testers said: “BATTLEFIELD 3 ALPHA TRIAL INSTRUCTIONS Dates: July 19th-August 1st Platforms: PC” . . . It finished on 1st August. The end was a bit odd, as I know some folks were playing BF3 Alpha on the early morning of the 1st, then it was all shutdown. Including access to the Battlelog site (http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/), which is a shame, as there were some good community discussions going on there.

      AFAIK the Beta will be starting in September.
